2nd Line Support Engineer
£24,000 to £27,000 Dependant on Experience + Full Benefits
We are looking for an experienced 2nd line IT Support Engineer to join a leading organisation’s IT department based in Basingstoke.
You will be responsible for providing fault resolution from calls escalated from the 1st line support team, so they will tend to be fairly technical issues requiring a more in-depth analysis and resolution.
Most of the calls, and therefore the experience you will need are:
- Desktop Support – Laptops, Tablets and printer issues.
- Application issues – liaising with the Software Companies support departments.
- General Office 365 issues and maintenance / administration.
- Active Directory
- Basic DNS issues.
You will need strong technical skills in the above, and also the ability to work well in the IT Team, to assist 1st line and ensure the internal users are kept fully supported and happy.
